He had undergone his seventh chemotherapy treatment and was confident he'd perform again. Dio first became famous as the singer for Rainbow, then he replaced Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath in 1980. His wife Wendy tells fans, "Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever." Vince Gill is the father of the bride. His daughter, Jenny Gill, got married on May 8th. The wedding and reception were at Gill's home.Jenny Gill is his daughter with Janis Oliver of Sweethearts of the Rodeo. On his website, Gill says Jenny and her new husband have known each other since they were kids. He's Josh Van Valkenburg. He grew up to become a record executive with EMI Music Publishing in Nashville. Some sang. Some answered phones. Some did both. But all did their part when it came to drumming up some much needed relief for areas affected by recent flooding. Among those involved in last night's three-hour benefit, which aired on GAC, were Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins and others. Actor and Nashville native James Denton of "Desperate Housewives" hosted, along with movie and T-V star Kimberly Williams Paisley. All money received will go to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Damages have been estimated at 1.5 billion dollars and climbing. Kenny Chesney is one of thousands in Nashville sifting through waterlogged memories after floodwaters consumed his home this week. His publicist, Holly Gleason, says it’s likely his house will be condemned after water rose past the first floor. Chesney’s gym is ruined. He also lost all of his sports memorabilia, including items from when he was in high school as well as professional sports items and pictures with friends who are athletes. Chesney was in another state working on a project when the flooding happened over the weekend. Cleanup is under way and people are working to assess the damage. "Avatar" director-activist James Cameron says Alberta's tarsands are a ``black eye'' to Canada's environmental image. The Canadian-born filmmaker says many people have expressed concern about the damage being done by the Athabasca oilsands project. He says, "I think it's bad, I think it's the wrong solution. For us to be doing greater and greater environmental damage pursuing a dead-end paradigm, which is fossil fuels, instead of spending those billions...
